Fred Sweigart


Fred SweigartFred Sweigart is a graduate of Anderson High School class of 1970. He has worked in the plumbing trade since high school, opening his own business, Sweigart’s Plumbing in 1980.

Fred became an Exchange Club member joining the Breakfast Exchange of Anderson in 1982. He became involved with the clubs Radio Auction to support the Exchange Clubs Child Abuse Prevention Center the same year. He was elected to the Centers board that same year and has served in that capacity since. He was elected twice as president of that board.  When the Exchange Clubs Foundation DBA Bids for Kids not for profit was formed he became a member of that board and was elected president twice.

Dustin Caulk

Vice President

Dustin CaulkDustin is Originally from Pana Illinois, he moved here in 1990 and graduated from Anderson High School in 1991. He completed a 4 year Electrical Apprenticeship graduating in 2003. He received his Master Electrician License also in 2003.

Dustin has worked as Electrician since 1998. His hobbies include playing Paintball, Deer Hunting, and riding his Trail Bike that he custom built.

Dustin has volunteered for Bids for Kids since 2009. He joined the board that governs Bids for Kids in 2011. He was elected Vice President for this board for 2013.

Dustin has been married to Lisa since 2000 and lives in Anderson. He has 2 sons, Jordan and Logan Caulk and a stepson Zach Spencer.


Barbie Jones


Barbie JonesBarbie Jones is a graduate of Highland High School and Ball State University with a BS degree in Advertising/Marketing. She is also a 2000 graduate of the Leadership Academy of Madison County.

Barbie has worked in the newspaper and banking industry since 1994.

Barbie became involved with Bids For Kids in 2000 after joining the Noon Exchange Club in 1998. She served as President-Elect and President of the Noon Exchange Club and Vice President of the Anderson Exchange Clubs Foundation (aka Bids For Kids). She has been involved in most aspects of the BFK Auction with the most recent being in charge of the backstage area.

Barbie is married to her husband, Kris. They live in Anderson with her son, Alex, stepson, Jake, and stepdaughter, Allie.


David Dodd


David DoddDavid Dodd is a graduate of Highland HS and Ball State University with a BS degree in Social Sciences with Majors in History and Political Science. He is also a 2000 graduate of the Leadership Academy of Madison County.

David has worked in the financial services industry since 1996.  He has been the CEO of Madison County Federal Credit Union since 2003.

David became involved in Bids for Kids in 1998 when he joined the Breakfast Exchange Club, and has worked at every job associated with BfK at one time or another.   Leading up to, and at, the auction, David is in charge of scheduling the show and acts as Floor Director.

Jama Donovan

Board Member

Jama DonovanJama Donovan is a graduate of Madison Heights High School and Ball State University.  She has worked in the social service field for over 16 years working in residential and child abuse prevention programs.  

Jama started her career at the Youth Opportunity Center and is currently employed at the Children’s Bureau.  She has been employed with the Children’s Bureau for 13 years with 9 of those years being in Anderson at the Exchange Club Family Resource Center serving as the Senior Director.  Jama oversees the preservation and prevention programs in four counties and supervises 20 employees.  In addition, to her Children’s Bureau duties she has been involved with the Local and State Exchange Club in various positions and is currently President of the Anderson Noon Exchange Club where the mission of the Club is Child Abuse Prevention.

G. Kristopher  Jones

Board Member

Kris JonesG Kristopher Jones “Kris” is a graduate of Anderson High School and the Indiana Institute of Technology with a BS in business with majors in marketing and finance.  He is also a 2003 graduate of the Leadership Academy of Madison County.

Kris has worked in the financial services industry since 2001. He has been a Financial Advisor for JPMorgan Securities LLC since 2009 and currently works in Muncie, IN.

Kris joined the board that governs Bids for Kids in 2003. He has served 4 years as treasurer and 5 years as president of the board. Kris has also served as the fundraising chairman, marketing director and program director for Bids for Kids.  Over the past 10 years, Kris has worked in some capacity in every area during the auction.

Joanne Ray, M.D.

Board Member

Joanne Ray M.D.Joanne Ray, M.D. was born in South Bend, IN and raised in Huntington, IN. She received her Bachelor's degree from St. Francis University in Fort Wayne, IN; and M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine. Pediatric training took place in Harrisburg, PA.

She moved to Anderson in June 1977, and opened a private practice in Pediatrics. She raised 4 children - Kevin, Brian, Sara & David in Anderson. In 1978, she was one of the founders of original Child Abuse Prevention Council. She was on the Board of the Child Abuse Prevention Center and then the Exchange Club Foundation Board and has been involved with Bids for Kids since 1982. She also served on the Child Protection Team, Child Trauma Team and Regional Child Fatality Team.

Deanna West

Board Member

Deanna WestDeanna grew up in Carmel, IN and moved to Anderson about 10 years ago. She has 2 kids, Aaron 10 and Abigail 7. Deanna has been volunteering for the auction for about 7 years. She also coordinates volunteers for the auction.

Stephanie Hamilton

Board Member

Stephanie HamiltonStephanie Hamilton is a life-long Anderson resident, wife, and mother of two.  She has been a hairstylist for 11+ years in the area.  She is also a full-time student currently pursuing her Bachelor's of Social Work degree.  She has been a member of the Anderson Noon Exchange Club for four years.  Stephanie joined the Bids for Kids Auction board in May 2014, after volunteering for several years.
